Officially designed and developed for military apparel meaning, Base Insulation provides a consistently high warmth value whilst excelling in breathability values in comparison to many other insulations. Its washable composition ensures suitability for the most technical insulated clothing ensembles. With 80% recycled composition, this is also a sustainable insulation for your apparel. How ever it gets better with addition of  Perforations

As well as the mentioned benefits of our Base insulation, Perforated insulation has the additional benefit of our patented Perforations technology - these are small apertures specifically sized and places within the insulation, increasing the breathability of the insulation by up to 30% whilst maintaining warmth. This unique technology allows moisture vapor to move away from the body so the wearer can remain comfortable for a longer period of time. The apertures are big enough to allow moisture vapor to escape, yet small enough to retain the warmth, providing the perfect balance between breathability and warmth.
